Master of Education in Educational Leadership
In the educational leadership M.Ed. program, you can choose an emphasis from three options:
- Teacher Leader — continue teaching in the classroom while you pursue alternative roles, such as lead teacher, mentor teacher, or department head
- School Leader with Principal Certification — prepare for school principal certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
- School Leader without Principal Certification — advance in your career and develop yourself as a school leader
You can also opt to complete a graduate certificate for principalship or teacher leadership as part of the M.Ed. program or as a stand-alone credential to prepare for PDE certification or endorsement.
